Vidushi Pathak
Hi, I’m Vidushi. I’m trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy and somatic approaches, and I hold a Master of Science in Cognitive Neuropsychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I participate in regular IFS therapy supervision and consultation groups.
I’m based in Amsterdam and work with clients both locally and internationally in English. My clients often describe me as calm, insightful, gentle, present, grounded, curious, honest and respectful.

Why I use IFS and Somatics
I use Internal Family Systems Therapy and Somatic approaches because I believe that sustained healing happens when we honour both the mind and the body.
IFS provides a compassionate map of the inner system — the parts that work tirelessly to keep you safe and the parts that carry the weight of past experiences. Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, we learn to understand and honour them. As they’re met with curiosity instead of judgement, they can soften and reorganise in support of your growth.
Somatic techniques provide a way to track how these inner experiences show up in the body and the nervous system, in tension, numbness, restlessness, or shutdown, etc. By gently building more awareness in the body, we create space for emotions to move and for a deeper sense of safety to take root.
In my experience using these modalities together, healing becomes a process of returning to yourself, not through force or willpower, but through presence, self-leadership, and connection.
Healing doesn’t mean wiping the slate clean; it means reshaping your experiences into something that feels authentically yours.
